About Peta
Peta Nowacki
Peta has worked exclusively in the area of workplace relations since 1999, founding Working Together in 2006. Since then she has been an independent mediator, investigator, trainer and consultant in fields including education, professional services, health, arts, retail and manufacturing for everything from corporates to not-for-profits. Before 2006, Peta worked in various Melbourne law firms as an employment and industrial relations lawyer.

Peta combines her legal skills with her commercial experience to bring practical solutions to everyday workplace issues. She is a clear, approachable communicator who is perceptive and efficient. Peta works hard to understand the needs of a business, and uses a practical, relevant approach to simplify issues and solutions. She uses her extensive legal experience and in-depth knowledge of workplace needs to provide advice that is both commercially and technically sound. Peta aims to make each person feel comfortable and relaxed, reducing the stress of a stressful situation.
Qualifications
Peta has a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and a Master of Labour Law from Melbourne University. She is a qualified lawyer, holds a current practising certificate and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV).
Peta is a qualified mediator with Lawyers Engaged in Alternative Dispute Resolution (LEADR) and is also listed as a qualified mediator with the LIV. She has her Certificate IV in training and assessment, provides training on behalf of the Victorian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission and is an accredited member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Peta is a founding committee member of the Association of Workplace Investigators in Australia. She has attended and presented at conferences in Australia and America, and has also given lectures on workplace investigations at Monash University.
