InvestigationsExternal investigations can be a very effective way of resolving problems or allegations into behaviour or misconduct in the workplace. Examples may include allegations of bullying, allegations of sexual harassment or allegations of theft. Your external investigator will conduct interviews with all parties concerned. Management will then be provided with a comprehensive report outlining whether each allegations is ‘proven’, ‘not proven’ or ‘inconclusive evidence’. Suggestions for integration back into the workplace or moving forward will be provided. Providing this function through an external facilitator is the best way of remaining impartial and providing procedural fairness to all parties. Peta has conducted many investigations of this nature across a broad range of sectors and workforces.
